Membership includes a listing of your farm on our Farm Members page at the SOFI official web site. This includes your name, farm name, address, phone number, email address and a free link to your web site.

FOUNDATIONS Newsletter
"FOUNDATIONS" is a regular publication of SOFI and will be available both printed and on-line to our members. Members are invited to submit farm news, births, 'greener pastures', sales information, SOFI Superstar Horses, show results, farm stories and other articles of interest to Sheykh Obeyd enthusiasts for potential inclusion in this newsletter. Catalog of Bloodlines
A Sheykh Obeyd Catalog is slated to be published every two years. This will be an attractive, high-quality catalog of SO horses with full page ads submitted by SO breeders/owners. This catalog will also include educational text and features, as well as a listing of all current Member farms at the time of publication. There will also be a comprehensive listing of SOFI qualifying horses included in this catalog. Members will be offered an extraordinary opportunity to advertise their farm or horses in this first class publication. One free copy will be mailed to all members, additional copies will also be made available. These will also be distributed at shows and other events to expose our wonderful horses to potential SO Arabian owners and supporters.

SOFI Membership Directory
A booklet containing the names and contact information for SOFI breeders/owners will be published and updated annually. These will be sent to all members, and they will also be included in our SOFI Information Packet, which will be sent to all persons who contact our business office with inquires regarding SO horses. Members will receive listings in this Directory at no cost.

Group Shows and Events
SOFI is working to encourage and to offer support for you and your horses to actively participate at shows and other public events in the coming years. Promotional literature about Sheykh Obeyd Arabians will be available and, whenever possible, SOFI will arrange special activities for SO Arabians and their owners in conjunction with major equine events. Educational seminars and group meetings will also be planned for our members.

Stallion Promotion
You are eligible to receive a stallion listing on our new Stallion page on the official SOFI web site. The Stallion page format will include pedigree information along with a good quality photograph and information you have supplied to promote your Sheykh Obeyd stallion or stallions.

Free Classifieds
Members may advertise their horses for sale, for lease or at stud, as well as items for sale in the SOFI web site Classifieds.

Bulletin Board
Members may submit notices and announcements for posting on the SOFI web site. This benefit will help you get the word out about special events, upcoming shows and other matters of interest to Sheykh Obeyd members and which support the mission statement of Sheykh Obeyd Foundation International. The Bulletin Board is a 'watering hole' of timely news to help you stay updated on 'What's Sheykhing" with your horse friends and fellow SOFI members.

Discounted Advertising
SOFI offers its members inclusion in special group advertisements that are placed in widely distributed publications. This allows you and your farm an easy opportunity to participate in these cooperative promotions without the need for special graphics and at a greatly reduced price.

BOD Consideration
Our Board of Directors and International Advisory Board are members of SOFI. To be considered for either board, you must be a member in good standing.

The Sheykh Obeyd Arabian Data Base:
We are delighted that Sheykh Obeyd Arabians are currently being identified and designated as such within the Arabian Horse Association Data Source. We are now in the process of creating a means to expand SOFI's database related features to include a comprehensive listing of all living SO horses along with their owners contact information.
