The SOFI Board of Directors is composed of devoted Arabian horse
enthusiasts, who, like the seven original Sheykh Obeyd Foundation breeders,
were drawn together for the specific purpose of preserving a crucial gene pool
of exclusive Arabian bloodlines. While individual interests and focus vary
among the members of the Board, all Directors share a deep regard for the
ancient Bedouin horse breeding philosophies of authenticity, both in pedigree
and in character. The Directors of SOFI are uniquely bound by their faith
in the rich resource of the Sheykh Obeyd Arabian, and are committed to
insuring its survival for the future of the breed.
